Coconut Oil for Hair


Coconut oil has been used in Asia as a hair treatment for many years. Used as a hair treatment
and a conditioner, coconut oil is known to add bounce and shine to dry and damaged hair. When combined with other essential oils, coconut oil makes an excellent dandruff treatment.

Recent research shows that coconut oil has the ability to penetrate the hair shaft and reduce protein loss as compared to other oils such as sunflower oils or mineral oils. Coconut oil has been in use as hair oil for ages and it has shown remarkable results. Certain components in it keep the
hair strong, vitalized, nourished and protected from effects of ageing oil is fun and easy to do.
The various fatty acids present in Coconut Oil serve as very good anti dandruff agents and are way better than any anti dandruff shampoo. A regular application can help you get rid of dandruffs for ever .


Steps to used coconut oil in hair
  1. Apply directly onto scalp massaging from roots to ends, leave on for at least 30 minutes before washing. For best results, leave on for as long as you can and apply at least three times a week.
  2. For Deep Penetration: Apply directly onto scalp massaging from roots to ends before bed, leave on overnight. Shampoo and rinse well.
  3. Coloring your hair: Apply a couple drops in your dye bottle mixing it well to protect your hair from getting damaged from chemical used.
